Air conditioner didn't work in August!!!

The room was clean but that didn't make up for an air conditioner that didn't work on a hot humid night! The manager said all he could do for my wife & I was offer us another room with single bed; when we had paid for a room with 2 queen beds. I declined the offer and we literally sweated out the night; no sleep! That's the last time we ever stay there!!! Also there was no ice bucket liner, no tissues, only 1 small bar of soap & only half a roll of toilet paper for 2 people!

Nice suprise

I was not sure what to expect since the room was so affordable. My first impression was...meh...as the "office' consists of a tight entry was with a glass divider between you and the clerk. But the gentleman who met me at the glass had elegant, lovely manners and got me checked in very quickly. The room was spotless, newly renovated, smelled nice, spacious, far exceeded all of my expectations. The next morning I checked out very well rested and went on my way. This was a fantastic deal, and I highly recommend!

Exceeded Expectations

We arrived at 11 p.m. and we're welcomed by the staff. The room was neat and clean. We were able to park right outside of the door. Area was quiet. Bed was firm but comfortable. Would have liked more pillows. At first the room was a bit stuffy, but the AC , once turned on, cured that fast. This is precisely the kind of small business that should be supported. They delivered great value at a reasonable price. It ain't the Ritz but was great for sleeping, showering and dressing.

I could not believe the condiction of the room. I would often pass small hotels like this one but man what a suprise.

Value for the money

I'd stayed here before. While not luxurious, it is a clean, modest, reasonably priced facility. Definitely value for the money. If the price remains as it is, I will definitely stay here again.

Relax Inn Dover - avoid at all costs

Booked this hotel because of good reviews for a new-ish property. DON'T BE FOOLED - not clean, bugs in room. Management was unwilling to address concerns. Not a place to stay if health or well being is important to you.

We spent three nites at this facility... and were very satisfied... clean room, friendly staff, quiet, easy to access, close to Dover downtown, food, and destinations in DE... dh

nonsmokers stay away ..you reserve a non smoke room and the give you a smoking room

Its a shame motels are allowed to do this... I'll pay more money to get a better room...
