We had a wonderful stay here! The room could use some updating (pillows weren't very comfortable), but everything was clean. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the location is perfect! Such a sweet little beach town, with terrific restaurants and boat rentals just steps away.

This was a great little hotel to use as a home base for exploring the Cala Gonone area. It was nice to have the option to use their private parking lot for a small fee. The room was great - beautiful views, complete with a hot tub and furniture for relaxing on the balcony. There was a safe in the room and good water pressure in the bathroom. We had the pleasure of eating in their restaurant as well. Breakfast was good with many options. For dinner I ordered the beef fillet with mirto sauce and I would highly recommend it!

Really nice place

Really well situated hotel overlooking the sea. Good selection at breakfast and of a good quality. Very good restaurant. Very helpful staff. There is parking available at a small cost.

The location was amazing. The bar on the waterfront was convenient. There was plenty of variety when it came to breakfast. Access to the pool involved a bit of a climb and although there was a bar there was no food available.

The property has a superb location - right by the sea, plenty of restaurant / bar choices, multiple beaches in walking distance. Good breakfast offer (not just sweets / pastries). The ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Our "room" with two separate bedrooms was great - it's an arrangement that is difficult to find, but great when you need a place for a couple 1. Guests can use the pool and the free parking of a nearby sister hotel which is just a short walk away (uphill). The biggest plus for us - making our stay overall excellent - was that when our flight back home got cancelled, they gave us a room for the same rate as our original booking. Many would try to take advantage of you in a situation like this, but not the staff of La Conchiglia. A few notes regarding parking / access: weirdly, even short-term (for check-in) parking is forbidden in front of the property except for one tiny place that's usually taken, parking nearby is possible if there are places, but is tight (and uphill), the paid parking offered is a bit complicated to use - would recommend the sister hotel's parking. If you plan to arrive in the evening, ask for an access code (all roads leading to the hotel are equipped with timed barriers). Finally, as the only negative: the hotel's restaurant and bar are not great for lunch / dinner / drinks - expensive, of mixed quality and with varying service. There are plenty of better options very close.

The property appeared to have been just recently renovated, and the staff kept it meticulously clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very nice and the hotel is located right across from the water and within walking distance to all the restaurants and the local harbor and the beach.

Giusi was so friendly and helpful during our stay! The view was stunning and the room was very large. The breakfast buffet was amazing and I loved being able to eat across the street right by the water! The location was excellent and convenient to walk to many restaurants and shops and to the harbor for day cruises. The laundry service was excellent and very affordable. We dropped our things off and they were ready the next morning. Some negative aspects: The hot tub was on the balcony facing the street so there isn’t much privacy, therefore we only used it once. We did not like the bed because it was very firm. The blow dryer was not great and you need to hold the button the entire time for it to run.

We were in Cala Gonone last year and ate at the restaurant on the sidewalk , we said if we ever came back this is where we would stay, and here we are back there. Our room was very large, great size balcony and a spa, so worth having the so to cool down from the extreme heat. All staff are just so friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent. Only minor thing was the room cleaning, no empty glasses were removed , minor as l said but overall we would def come back. The location is excellent, great beaches over the road, pebble beaches, port ten min stroll. Thankyou to our wonderful host who always had a smile, she is the owner and works like a Trojan to make all happy. Oh and the breakfast was amazing also.

A very nice hotel with delightful staff.

So, i thought really hard about this review. The hotel was great and the staff was very kind and accommodating and the location is fantastic! The only downsides to this hotel are that the bed was a bit hard for my taste and The hotel has a very loud echo and you can hear a lot of what is going on in the hotel. Ill leave it at that… The AC is a little on the slow side as well. But, that is kind of the experience no matter where you go in the EU. The bed was definitely on the firm side. Which, i wish was something that more people would leave in their reviews as I like a softer mattress. The hotel itself is very pretty and the food is fantastic and the location is perfect. I don’t think there is much they could do about the echo. Overall, a very nice hotel in a great location. Just keep the firmness in mind if you like a softer mattress.

Fint hotel med god beliggenhed

Rigtig fint hotel, morgenmaden var over Italiensk standard (som normalt er espresso og en croissant) Muligheden for at sidde og spise med udsigt over vandet er fantastisk. Vores værelse havde terrasse lige ved udluftningen fra køkkenet, så det var ikke behageligt at sidde på terrassen til spisetid grundet duften af friture. Vi blev dog en ekstra dag grundet beliggenheden

Sehr schöne Lage, nah am Strände und Spaziergänge. -Das Zimmer war zwar schön aber voller Ameisen, trotz der Versuch sie zu beseitigen. - Unser Zimmer hat eine komische Geruch, es kam aus der Badezimmer ( das war aber kein Schuld der Reinigungskräfte) - Wifi war sehr schlecht .
