I checked in late at night, but the receptionist gave me the corner room on the executive level with a wonderful panoramic view, even though the hotel was almost fully booked on a national holiday. The breakfast was better than I expected. Imagine I am an Accor member who just spent the other night at Mercure Tokyo, where their internet breakfast with a touch of Japanese gastronomy.
