"Beautiful hotel, nice large room and bathroom, good breakfast, evening meal not so good, would not eat there again, asked for our steak medium and it was rare and a little tough, waiting staff very good and attentive, had to pay 150 euros on arrival as a deposit otherwise they would not have given us the room, 2 days after leaving I am still waiting for it back!! "

"We cannot fault our stay. Arrived late but Pascale had rustled up a 3 course meal for us….! Really friendly, beautiful setting, quiet. Very comfortable bed, great breakfast (as you would expect from a pastry chef). You eat at a table with the other guests in our case from Belgium and the Netherlands and much laughter was had alongside several different languages! "We absolutely loved our stay at Le Gaimont. Our hosts Elisa and Mathieu were so welcoming and friendly and made our short stay truly memorable. The rooms are really comfortable and there are lots of places around the property to relax and enjoy the little haven of peace. Our 3 year old son loved playing in the heated pool and trying to be the boss of the very friendly hotel dog! The whole hotel has been decorated beautifully and with lots of quirky touches. The owners obviously have great taste. This really was the best place we stayed and we’d thoroughly recommend La Gaimont. We hope to be back soon "
