"The Cabot Lodge is a quaint, adorable, wonderful place to stay! The room itself is tiny but the bathroom is spacious. The room has everything you need, including a sound machine! There are complimentary snacks and coffee, and the bed is very comfortable. The town itself is historic and has some very cool shops. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Location, location, location!! The Hawthorne is right where you want to stay if you’re touring Salem. Everything is within walking distance which made it so much easier to navigate the city. Staff was amazing as well. Overall, an amazing place to stay. "

"After reading every review with my daughter on the way there for fun some people I think just like to complain at everything. The bed was clean and nice, the shower was pristine. my daughter slept till 730 and usually wakes up at 5:30 so the bed was very comfortable. Plus the room darkening shades helped my daughter sleep. "We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel. Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.
