"Very friendly family service. Great location for beach - 2-3 min walk. Lots of great restaurants around, especially on beach. Next to road, so easy to get tuktuk. Comprehensive convenience shop 4 min walk. Lovely pool with outdoor shower. A/C kept room at nice temperature, with ceiling fan. Family room had two double beds and we had a cot, so family of five well-suited. Room cleaned every 3 days. "The place is situated close by all the relevant beaches, especially Hiriketiya and Nilwella beach. It is about 10-15 minutes to get to hiriketiya road where most of the shops/resturants are. Its calm and tranquil at this place, away from the busy scene at hiriketiya road yet not to far to get there when you want. Space to park if u have tuk tuk, scooter etc. The rooms are cozy and clean. "Malgré notre confirmation de réservation, une fois sur place nous n'avons pas été reçu. Cela avec plusieurs excuses différentes. La première excuse donnée à notre chauffeur, c'est qu'ils avaient reçu 11 personnes en dernière minutes donc plus de place de dispo. la suivante pour nous, c'est qu'il ne travaillait plus avec notre agences Expedia et la 3eme lorsqu'un agent de Hôtels a appelé, ils ont dit qu'ils étaient fermé à cause de la météo.... Nous ne recommdons pas ces menteurs!"

"This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit"

"A beautiful property with very attentive and considerate staff. The area itself was very quiet. If you are looking for somewhere with a lot of shops/restaurants in walking distance, this is not the property for you. But the quiet was a nice change of pace for 2 nights on our journey. "

"Such a lovely hotel, situated on a quiet, beautiful beach. All staff here and at the sister hotel a short walk away were amazing, with a special mention to Rosin and Nedmina (sorry I couldn’t quite remember your full name!) We loved being able to swim in the sea just outside and walking along the beach. A great, comfortable base for exploring the South Coast. Lovely food too-eating on the beach was a real treat!"

"Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave."
