"The room had a fun and unique look. The hallway carpet looks shabby because of staining. In our numerous stays throughout France we were treated very welcoming way as Americans, at this hotel was the first time I noticed any difference in our treatment by the front desk staff."
"It is a very unclean property . The wooden flooring is stain everywhere . The upholstery is dirty . Bed sheets were clean so slept . Thankfully stayed only one night"
"Excellent location, very close to the old city. Neat and clean rooms and good bathroom. There was no fridge in the room though, which is unusual, but no other issues. Limited parking spaces available but if you let them know in advance they will keep one for you."
"A good place to stay for a short-term. Bed was comfortable, a little on the firm side. Shared washroom was always clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Common areas with clean as well lots of room if you want to work or just relax. Conveniently located near Historical Area and less than a 15 minute walk to the train station or hop on the streetcar which was less than 5 minutes walk."
Appart'hôtel Odalys City - Dijon Centre Les Cordeliers
10/10 Excellent
"We chose the hotel on the basis of the photos of the old monastery and its cloisters, and it didn’t disappoint. An initial problem with our allocated accommodation was quickly and efficiently dealt with, and we were given a very pleasant two bedroomed apartment on the first floor (easily accessible by lift for anyone with limited mobility) with seating area, dining table and kitchenette. There was a large bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate loo, which was handy for four people sharing. Everything was immaculately clean. Our only quibble was a lack of anywhere to hang clothes, particularly as the rooms were big enough to accommodate at least a rail with hangers.
The location of the hotel is excellent - just a stone’s throw from the Place des Cordeliers and within easy walking distance of the fantastic Place de la Libération and the palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. The breakfast, served in one of the vaulted rooms of the monastery, was really excellent. A generous, comprehensive selection of high quality food which set us up for the day."
"Located out of Dijon but close to a number of chain restaurants.
Hotel restaurant closed Sunday but staff provide a list of open restaurants nearby, within walking distance.
Pleasant outdoor seating. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we visited, though website indicated it was open.
Excellent reception staff."
