The staff is amazing and very attentive, the facilities are great and clean and the rooms are very nice. We loved that the hot spring water was piped into a tub in our bathroom for our own private soak. It’s very conveniently located and there’s many little food spots within walking distance or a short uber ride. Also within walking distance is a nice park and library. Definitely recommend staying at the Gaia to relax either at the start of your trip or end."

"Staff was incredible and extremely courteous and helpful. I recommend this resort, especially during winter season, it still offers a wonderful view of the City, even in the fog and rain. I also recommend more than a night's stay, so you can try the different breakfast styles, restaurants, or take the shuttle into xinbeitou to experience local Taiwanese markets.
