"We loved the Essenhaus Inn! Only one suggestion….perhaps upgraded cotton linens and bedspread would have been nice. There were stains in the bathtub which I think was actually on the film covering. We appreciate the hard work that goes into operating an Inn and hope to visit again in the future. All the best, Nancy and Kent Meihofer"

"Breakfast was hot, homemade food and very tasty too! Coffee was good and hot. Staff smiling and helpful in answering questions. We enjoy staying at the Blue Gate and also seeing the wonderful shows that we love to see at the PAC which is within walking distance. You won’t be disappointed staying here. "

"The room was very clean, loved the fresh, clean smell of the linens! Staff was friendly & the grounds were well maintained. Parking was fine. I only had one issue, I had an extremely difficult time getting onto the bed! They are very high & an older person can’t quite maneuver like we use to! And I think the bathroom could use more than one grab bar. Maybe I should have requested a handicap room! Anyhow, over all, a very pleasant place to stay!"

"Room was just renovated and clean. They are undergoing construction but it did not impact anything. Breakfast was good! Brand new TV. Only concern was the hot water in the shower was not consistent and same for the air conditioner. We notified the front desk."

"This hotel is up to date, clean, good amenities and one of the best breakfast offerings, aside from a few very luxurious hotels, I have experienced. "

"The staft's family lives in rooms by our room. Kids playing, yelling, even riding bikes in the hall. Adults talking and doors slamming shut to early morning. Our TV didn't work, a sign at the desk said management had to step away. When I did find him he said he'd help with the TV but never showed. Breakfast was not worth eating. Don't waste your money on this place. "
