"Leon was very communicative throughout the booking. We STRONGLY recommend meeting Leon in the town for transportation or escort up to the lodge for initial arrival. It is a very steep climb. The path gets smaller as you go higher. There are no signs letting you know if you are on the right track. Our navigation told us we had arrived when we still had further to go. We rented a 4X4 in Panama City specifically for this booking. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the climb up to the location. It...

"This is a fabulous hotel. The views from the breakfast area and pool are breathtaking. The grounds are a veritable botanical garden. Very well maintained and a joy to just walk around and look at the plants and stream running through it. It is located beside a river so you have the peaceful sound of the river next to you. The rooms are updated and the bathrooms modern and clean. Glass enclosures and rain head showers. There is no AC but you don’t need it. The air is so much cooler in this part...
