"This hotel is poor. Nothing like the advertisements. It is dingy,dark, noisy. The traffic from outside is overwhelming loud and I was on the quiet side. The bathroom is horrible with no place to put anything. The sink constantly drips. I could not take a shower since there is a column halfway along the tub. I could not get in to the tub.
The window is filthy and partially open behind the dirty inner window. The patch on the ceiling
Is very visible and crumbling.
The homeless people gather all...

"Truly felt vacationed with the beauty and comfort of the property. Staff …. Super friendly! If traveling w a dog, this is the place to be. The salt water pool was wonderful after a long stroll through the beautiful town of Manchester. I’ll be coming back!"

"We ended up staying at On the river after we failed to spend the night at our Airbnb. There was a F1 tornado that hit the Woodstock area the night before and there was no electricity. Anyway, the hotel sits on a lovely spot and their grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed their breakfast and hot tub/pool area. I can’t give this place a 5 star rating for the following reasons. It is a pet friendly hotel which we love because we our pet lovers. However, the carpet in our room smelt like dog pee....

"Wonderful comfortable room! The Inn was beautiful and the location is perfect for walking Main Street, access to the Recreation path, and close to attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great dinner at the Whip."
