"We stayed an extra day on our trip so we booked a night here. The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel was a couple of blocks from the central bus location to catch a bus to different parts of the city. The bus maps and routes were very easy to figure out. "The horse back ride was a highlight! The wrangler and her daughter were delightful! Beautiful, easy to ride horses. Fresh salad from the greenhouse was delicious. Hot springs were relaxing and novel in a gorgeous setting. "

"All around great! I read reviews so when I saw the good reviews and high rating on Hotel Glacier, we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did! The hotel didn't look like much on the outside but the lobby was nice and clean. Check-In was easy. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. $100/night less expensive than another nearby option. We will definitely stay at Hotel Glacier when we return to Valdez and would highly...

"You can't beat this place for the money. Most of the hotels in Fairbanks are overpriced summer tourists traps, not this hotel! Our room was clean and tidy. We had a separate room with a couch for watching TV. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They have an airport shuttle that will also get you to the Alaska Railroad depot. We will be return guest."

"The hotel is located in downtown. It's right along the river.They had a nice river walk. It was close to shopping and a lot of places to walk and get food. There's a barbecue place right around the corner and an ice cream truck in the parking lot across the street from the barbecue place that stays open until 10 PM. The staff there always greeted us when we came in. Asked if we were having a good day, if we needed anything. Very friendly, nice. Our hotel room was clean. I felt very secure...
