"Fabulous hotel in a converted palace formerly owned by Eugenie, the wife of Louis Napoleon, of the Second French Empire.
Restaurant dinners were somewhat limited in choice but excellently prepared.
Fantastic location. Just remember Toledo is very hilly."

"I had a reservation at the Sercotel Rinascimiento but they were undergoing renovations so they moved me to Sercotel Alfonso VI. However they did it wrong so my entire reservation was cancelled. I had to re-book at reception and Sercotel Alfonso VI was fine but the breakfast had no coffee machine that worked correctly so I just had instant coffee in my room. I would not recommend it "
