"Sehr schöne bungalows, alles gut in Schuss. Gutes Restaurant, nicht die schnellsten aber leckeres Essen. Sehr schöne Anlage. Professionelles Verhalten der Inhaber auch bei Problemen. Gute Lage zum Addo Elephant park. "

"Decent place however in our room the ceiling fan did not work and we could not control the air con except for the temperature when we told the staff we were told that they couldn't check every room. The room needed some updating."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hitgeheim Country Lodge. The road in is a little rough, but as it is an eco reserve, that is to be expected and part of the experience. The reward is the wildlife along the way, and we were lucky enough to encounter some zebras. We chose a room with a private pool, which was absolutely beautiful and made our stay feel extra special. We loved the port provided and enjoyed a delicious Taste of South Africa dinner in the restaurant. A lovely final touch was having our car...

"We arrived on Sunday at 7pm to the locked front gate of the property and no one was present to let us in to the property for about 20 minutes, despite an early call we made about 2 hours prior to let them know about our estimated arrival time.
The guest house is located in a very small & depressing town were KFC closing at 8pm was the only option in town for dinner on Sunday evening as the restaurant on hotel premises is closed on Sunday for dinner.
TV in the room played only 1 channel.
