"Beautiful hotel in a great spot: ideal for exploring nearby Valletta with a shop and great little cafe a minute’s walk away. There is free tea/coffee/water throughout your stay and you can borrow beach towels if you venture to the coast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend."

"Well located property, clean and modern. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. Minor problems resolved instantly. Close to Valletta, directly opposite a nice cafe and close to a mini supermarket for essentials. Some feedback: - Fridge/kettle couldn't be plugged in as they're EU plugs (Malta uses UK plugs). They also weren't close enough to plugs to use when we wanted to - A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would be helpful. Very small cupboard under the sink was difficult to keep all of our things - Maybe specific to our room but based on photos we were under the impression there would be shampoo/gel to use but it was just watered down hand soap, so we purchased our own We would still stay here again, these are all minor inconveniences and don't take away from the positives."

Cerviola Hotel

"I wish I could have reviewed this property fully. However upon arrival I was told that I was staying at one of their sister hotels, TJ Boutique. While it was a 5 minute walk away it had none of the amenities that Cerviola hotel offered. So every morning I would go to the main hotel for breakfast, the pool, laundry services, etc. TJ Boutique was cute, the AC was nice and the cleaning staff always did an amazing job. The staff at the main hotel were some of the most accommodating and kind people I have ever met. They answered all my questions about the Public transit and recommended some good restaurants near the hotel. While I would have preferred to stay at this hotel, TJ Boutique was a good alternative with the benefit of the main hotel’s amenities."

"I had a great time at Lemon Tree. The guest house is incredibly beautiful (the pictures are accurate!), the room facilities were slightly basic but all in good working order and everything was spotless and well maintained. But it's the hosting that is where it really comes into its own. Andreina and everyone who works here are the most welcoming of hosts, and the home-cooked breakfast every morning (with many traditional Maltese options) was the absolute highlight! I stated I am pescetarian and Andreina was extremely accomodating - adapting every recipe to my dietary requirements. Żabbar is a really nice place to stay - it's incredibly quiet, the locals are very friendly, and there's a really frequent 90/91 bus from Żabbar town centre to Valletta bus station - whence you can get a bus to anywhere else in Malta. (There are also buses 92/93/94 closer to Lemon Tree but they are less frequent than the 90/91.) I also walked to Birgu on my first day - distances in Malta are tiny enough that if the weather allows, it is possible to get around on foot. The only downside was the shower, which gets its water from a tank and so is quite inconsistent in both pressure and temperature. But this was a minor inconvenience when everything else was so great. I would definitely stay at Lemon Tree again! Thank you Andreina and everyone!"
