"We were made to feel very welcome by the hotelier and staff even though we had to make a last minute change to our booking. The room and en suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Dinner was delicious. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the centre of town. Breakfast choices were limited and lacked cereals for instance. This comfortable hotel would benefit from some redecorating, particularly the entrance and stairs, but this is easily offset by the warm welcome offered."

"Superb stay, great location, comfy bed, spotlessly clean. I would definately recommend Le Lys Ecossais and will be back again to stay in the not to distant future."
