"Loved the diner/cantina restaurant and the wait staff. Some of the Mexican food was delicious (a couple of items were just ok) and breakfast all day, every day was fantastic. The diner made it so that I didn't have to rush out looking for a bite to eat when I was tired. The room was great, but the bathroom was drastically small. As it was an older hotel it was understandable. For sure would return if I was in San Diego."

"The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the outlets and plenty of restaurants. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room was disappointing. There was sand throughout the floor, and we found hair in both the sink and shower.
This was not the level of cleanliness I would expect from a Marriott hotel. Given the brand’s reputation, I expected much better."

"checked in only to find out our tv was broken, called guest services and they switched us to a different room. had to gather all our items and leave to the other room in a different building only to find out that the toilet in the new room doesn’t work and it is completely stuffed with tissue paper when we got there. tried to call guest services and even the phone in that room was broken. eventually got a hold of them and they sent maintenance to fix our toilet. it was unclogged and after one...

"This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed out. Courteous staff. Clean beaches and amazing restsurants. . Just an awesome place close to the beach and amusement park. They even have a seal habitat on the property where they rescued blind seals. You get to watch and appreciate them while drinking your coffee at the excellent airstream cafe beside there habitat. 10/10 resort. Thumbs up from a Canadian."
