"Room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. We found the restaurant on site to be pretty good and the cafe was nice to have for a morning coffee. Pool area was clean, and honestly you can't beat a hotel right on the beach! Overall great experience and would stay again!"

Grocery store and pharmacy also close by and easy walk. Only complaint is bathroom light is motion activated so when you get up in the middle of the night it comes on. Bright and shocking! "

A note for North Americans - outlets are 220v so bring power adapters. A fun location to see the comings and goings of the marina, with a nice, very quiet pool. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Mandarin's hotel staff exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do on the premises and the food was excellent. "I spent a week here and it was the best week of the year - what a wonderful way to end the year. There was music every evening (that would stop at a reasonable time to sleep), fireworks on NYE, a giant floating event for the first day of the year, and a lovely attitude by everyone. The room was great, I was worried about bugs, but a net was put up around the bed for me. Also, there was a bug repellent provided. Whenever an issue happened, someone was available to fix it. The electricity went out...

"Outstanding staff. I didn't really need help with anything, but I saw they were helping many other guests with myriad transport issues. Oh, and compliments to the chef! It's not a convenient walk to downtown/beach, but they offer free shuttles back and forth roughly every 2-4 hours. "
