"The A/C was not very cold and at one point started leaking water. Hotel did offer to change the room but it was late in the night so slept with water dripping and plenty of towels on the floor. Hardly any breakfast for vegetarians - perhaps a better selection of fruits would be good."

"À peine arrivé, on a demandé expressément à notre enfant (8 ans) de ne pas faire de bruits à la piscine. Le petit déjeuner, protégé par une vitrine en verre, ne permet pas de se servir seul, et la serveuse (peu aimable) vous donne un croissant et rien de plus . Nous avons pu obtenir un cappuccino supplémentaire mais pas de jus de pommes pour notre enfant « il n’y en a pas ». Dommage car la villa est jolie. Une étape à ignorer."

"My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Roncolo! The hotel is new and beautiful, everything is clean and stylish. The hotel, pool, and restaurant sit on a large area of secluded land so you feel very removed and peaceful even though you’re only a few minutes from the nearest town. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. They offer free wine tastings of their cellar and balsamic tastings. The restaurant was great, delicious tasting menu. "Unique, quirky, ancient building. Excellent restaurant (not open in August). Comfortable and relaxing. The only improvement one could wish for is a kettle in the room and minimal tea/coffee amenities, but that's not typical of traditional Italian hotels. In any case, the continental buffet is great and included in the rate."
