"A perfect spot, only 10-15 minutes walk to the beachfront and enough facilities in the unit to cater for ourselves for a couple of nights. A great aspect from the balcony which encouraged us to stay in and not go out in the evenings. One of the most comfortable beds you could ever wish to sleep in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back and would highly recommend"

"The room and bathroom were clean but a bit small for two people. There was no closet to hang things and the kitchenette was without a sink which would have been ok if the bathroom sink had been big enough. However, that bathroom sink was pretty small and we hesitated to clean our cups and glasses in it as we were afraid to break them. So we left the dishes uncleaned on the counter. Parking was free and the location quiet. The prize for one night was not too bad. Just if you plan for a longer...

"Worst place to stay! After a 30 day trip in all of NZ this was the worst. The food was terrible, the customer service unacceptable. I would do a day hike in the park and have the water taxi take you back to Kaiteriteri "

"Really nice Lodge with breakfast included. Very quiet location where you get a good night sleep. Big, well maintained garden where you can spend time reading a book or just relax. Clean rooms, parking is free, staff was welcoming and helpful finding a good restaurant for dinner. Would book again when in the area."
