"Great hosts! We arrived off season and on a Monday - the day the Pyrenees go on a diet! No restaurants in the town were open on arrival! Even a reservation for Tuesday was a challenge, but the hosts stepped up and found us a nice restaurant in the neighboring town. Perfect base to see three legendary places in the French Pyrenees "

"Like a DIY bedsit, with broken tiles, bunk beds and generally bad bathroom and room facilities. Only had one electric socket! Very basic and only good thing was availability / location in the mountain. Restaurant was closed, if not non-existent, and the 8/10 reviews are unbelievable based on our actual experience. Fortunately, there was a decent pizza place in the village, which was busy. "

"Located in the nature in a very calm spot and yet very close from Cauterets. The hosts are very nice and helpful. All the food is homemade and delicious. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well decorated."

"Hotel is located on the outskirts of this small mountain village, but the centre is easily accessible. Also located close to Thermal Park (including playground) and baths. Room was clean, with a decently sized bathroom and toilet. There is a convenient restaurant which offers good quality food at decent prices. Owners are very friendly and helpful."

"Beautiful, old stone building. View from the front terrace and dining room is looking right at the Cirque de Gavarnie. Great access to hiking trails around this Cirque and also access to hikes into adjacent Cirques. The room was basic and dated, but clean and comfortable, nonetheless. A few oddities like no place to hang a towel, or the hall light didn't turn on when leaving the room (motion sensor was at the elevator end of the hall). Lydia was extremely warm and welcoming and fun to talk with....
