"We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. "We spent two nights here and loved it. The friendliness of the staff combined with the professionalism of the chef made it a start to remember. Dog owners: although dogs are not welcome in the general areas, the hotel grounds are great and lead straight to the shingle beach. Plenty for the muppet to sniff and lots of rabbits to chase."

"A quiet, clean hotel on the waterfront in Scalloway. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and answered our questions about the area. The hotel has a good restaurant on prem, with a good, varied menu. There is a convenience store a few steps away that carries various food and drink, as well. No downsides to staying here. "Fijn ruim huis op mooie plek. Prima voorzieningen in huis. Helaas vanuit woonkamer beperkt uitzicht op schitterende omgeving. Ook een buitenzitje ontbreekt. Goede WiFi, aardige eigenaar, die kennelijk meerdere huizen verhuurt, want bij het boeken word je moeilijk gewaar wat welk huis is en waar."
