"Really handy apart hotel! Only about a 20/25 minute tram to the centre. Comfy bed and cosy room with helpful cooking facilities. Friendly and kind staff too. Could have done with some more cooking utensils and cleaning products though especially if you have a short enough stay, it’s a bit inconvenient to buy lots of things. "

"We stayed at De Jonker for a long weekend just gone. We were very sceptical about staying here to be honest, after reading quite a few negative reviews. All I can say is our experience was totally different. We had a last minute room change via email, so I think potentially our room was a deluxe suite. "We stayed in a 1 bedroom canal view space. Very comfortable and good space to spread out after a long day of exploring the city. There's no a/c, which we knew prior to our stay. Thankfully there was a fan provided which made a world of difference in the comfort level. Be sure to use it in the summer!
