"We really loved our experience at Kato Waidi! The staff were so kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the location was both peaceful (it’s right on the river!), as well as interesting (it’s right beside a Nubian craft market). Our only challenge was that the AC had a hard time cooling our room, but it was also 117 degrees so I think any AC would have struggled :)"

"I love the place and it is something magic about this hotel, especially that it is so close to the Isis temple, and I love their spa. I felt that this place helped me to do my auto-healing retreat. The food was great and affordable and the staff extremely nice and helpful. I want to come back in the future!!!"

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. When I booked it was last minute and I was not expecting much. However this hotel went far above and beyond my expectations. The location is clutch and the staff was extremely helpful. It’s not the ritz Carlton but I didn’t need it to be."

"Amazing location with fabulous views of Philae temple. Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. In fact, we were the only guests that night so they offered us a room from an adjoining property that had air conditioning since most rooms only have fans. Views from the room overlooking the lake were gorgeous. The breakfast was wonderful with generous portions of delicious Nubian dishes.
