"We really loved our experience at Kato Waidi! The staff were so kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the location was both peaceful (it’s right on the river!), as well as interesting (it’s right beside a Nubian craft market). Our only challenge was that the AC had a hard time cooling our room, but it was also 117 degrees so I think any AC would have struggled :)"

"Amazing location with fabulous views of Philae temple. Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. In fact, we were the only guests that night so they offered us a room from an adjoining property that had air conditioning since most rooms only have fans. Views from the room overlooking the lake were gorgeous. The breakfast was wonderful with generous portions of delicious Nubian dishes. "Service was excellent. Room had everything you really need, good AC, close to shops, has own restaurant and breakfast is included. Bed and pillows were a little too firm for my liking."

"Beautiful setting with a lovely view of the Nile and surround areas south of the Aswan Low Dam (including the Pihlae Temple) from the terrace.
The staff's hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, and quality breakfast make it a wonderful place to rest and explore the area."

"Ideal pour aller à pied aux temples d'Abou Simbel en moins de 10 minutes. C'est le seul hotel proche pour pouvoir visiter dés l'ouverture et de revenir prendre son petit déjeuner une fois la visite faite. Le personnel est attentif aux clients et le petit déjeuner excellent."
