"The Aryana hotel exceeded our expectations. The whole place was spotless, service was terrific, the food was delicious and the hospitality was incredible. Nelu, the manager took care of ourselves, he made sure we enjoyed our stay in all aspects, he gave us tips for our trip, helped secure a tuktuk to take us around, and engaged in meaningful conversation. He even provided us with a free upgrade as our room was not very confortable the first night. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"It started with a bad surprise, for which I would blame Hotels.com as they showed pictures of the Mahoora tents, but booked us in the Big Game tent… a lower standard. Once that issue was cleared, we truely enjoyed our stay… the Mahoora tent is amazing, in a stunning environment. Service is great, candle dinner is amazing… and the safari organization was perfect."

"Shehan, his wife and young son make Saubagya Inn an excellent choice for a stay at Anuradhapura. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathroom good and the a/c worked well in the hot weather when I stayed. "This property offered value for money - it was cheap. In its heyday, it must have been a very nice hotel but maintenance has fallen behind over the years. The common areas are fine but the rooms and exterior/grounds are very tired and badly need to be updated. Perhaps the owners can't afford it - there were only 4 guests booked in on the night we stayed."
