"It could do with more cleaning. The hallways were clean and smelled fresh but the room carpet needed deep cleaning with dust bunnies along the corner skating . The carpet looked discoloured and the floors creaked. The pillows were so flimsy and my duvet had a rip on the underside. There was so much hair all over the room and the beds were not comfortable at all. The bathroom tap was so difficult to open as if it hasnt been used in years. "Good hotel for a short stay, a bit dated but good. Positives: Friendly staff, good size room, clean. The not so great: Breakfast is the biggest disappointment. The choice is minimal and quality should be better. If the breakfast options included fried eggs or pouched eggs and the supplied bread, jam and sausage quality would be better the rating would be much higher."

"Safe in room was not working, reported to receptionist who stated that maintenance would fix the following morning. This did not happen, safe still not working 2nd evening.
Tv in room had European language channels and lesser known English terrestrial channels, but none of the main channels such as BBC, ITV, Ch4 or Skynews.
BBC news was however on the large screen in reception."

"Es war eine stilistisch eine wunderschöne alte klassische Unterkunft. Die Inneneinrichtung ist rustikal aber schön gehalten und passt zum Gesamtbild.
Die Zimmer waren ordentlich und sauber.
Das Grundstück ist riesig, worauf man noch einen kleinen Abendspaziergang machen kann.
Das Frühstück war gut und es gibt genügend Auswahlmöglichkeiten.
Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend."

"The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was spotless. We had a lovely breakfast each morning. The coffee in the restaurant was good, not so good in the room.
The rooms don’t have usb ports or aircon. Not all rooms are accessible via the lift so if you have accessibility issues you should check this out before booking.
There is plenty of parking and there are charging points. And if you’re a golfer this is the place to stay."
