"Let me start off by saying the good it was a beautiful escape. If you want to seclude and disconnect yourself from the world this is the place to stay. "They denied us the room due to my medical alert service dog. They claimed it was a pet even with my paper work, certificates and vest! Worse they lied to hotel.com claiming they would give us the room for an extra $100 and refused refund. We reserved and arrived less than 24 hrs later and we lost a room we did not use almost $400. They said my service dog was unsanitary to the other guests and refused us entry. At 9pm at night we had to find another hotel! Horrible experience "

"I booked my wife and I in for a 4 days over Christmas. It as a bit last minute and an not normally an eco lodge vacationer. Wow! Awesome spot, great rooms (though, be prepared to use the fans!), excellent food, and fantastic staff. It is a small, 9-10 unit place, with pool, dining, spa, yoga, surfing, paddle boarding, and the beach. The owners, Gary and Dee, met us and settled us into the place and launched us on a paddle board before having to head to Managua for Christmas with their kids....
