"We are 15+ year returning guests to the Lodge. We come back for many reasons, Hotel location, entertainment, room, amenities,hot tub sauna, shuttle to downtown. Customer experience training needed for p/t parking security/driver. Yelling at guests and aggressively accusing of not being a guest in the lot was not in line with this 4* hotel, all while parking the car and walking to the hotel side door. This incident proved no customer training at any level was provided to the staff who thought he needed to “police” people parking in the guest only lot and be confrontational. Hotel was advised and a of bottle of inexpensive sweet sparkling wine was sent to our room even after declining the offer - not needed. What matters is training your staff with a baseline of customer experience necessary to treat guests with courtesy and respect instead of guilty people looking for free parking. Champagne is to celebrate and this occasion didn’t warrant it, especially $10 sparkly wine. There are other ways to resolve these types of issues and it’s needed from management not just employees. "

"Everything went perfect from the point of booking the hotel on the Expedia site. No hidden fees or extra charges. The hotel and room was what we expected, clean and comfortable overlooking the pool, and then throw in free breakfast. What more could you ask for?. Thank you Expedia and thank you Heritage inn."
