"We sat down in the common area with snacks & our drinks. The staff had the fireplace lit. The rooms were wonderful. We had lunch in the area on the day of check in, we didn’t want to leave our bags in the car. Thank goodness we were able to get early check in. Love this place"

"The Motel, was very clean and provided all the necessary amenities. However upon arrival the gentleman behind the desk was not that friendly gave me the keys, said if I needed anything else he would be in the office until 9pm he didn’t direct me to my room I had to walk around to find my room number so I could drive my car there. No information about where to leave the keys, or Whyfie"

"The air con could not keep room warm enough at night. Mould in the bathroom, doors would jam, cupboards are falling apart, etc. Barely 2 star accommodation. In major need of upgrades and maintenance."

"Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great."

"Facility appears to have modernised recently. Very nice to walk into the room. Water scalding hot for shower, so that was a beautiful surprise. Riya at reception - outstanding. Asset to the place. Nice BBQ area in full view of room. Could leave kids in room and felt safe about it"

"Arrived late and received a courtesy call from staff advising of parking options and entry instructions which were easy and efficient. Easy stroll to restaurants and supermarket for dinner and snacks. Pool looked so inviting, sad we didn’t bring our togs. Room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. We were just passing through, a shame we couldn’t stay. "

"Leumeah Lodge is a fairly new hotel under the YMCA. My family and I (4 adults) had one room with 2 queen sized beds to ourselves. The room was spacious enough and the toilet is behind a door, separated from the shower place. Convenient for a family of four trying to get ready in the morning. Although the hotel is about 15-20mins away from the central of Canberra, there is a Maccas and Caltex located nearby (7 mins walk) and it is an easy drive back to the city. Well worth the money and...

"There was little or no human contact nor written instructions. The stove fan was very greasy, the stove top was discoloured. The vacuum cleaner hose was broken in one part. The room and parking numbering system were illogical, not sequential, e.g. room numbers didn’t correspond to floors and parking space numbers were haphazard. I didn’t know whom to contact if anything went wrong. On the positive side the A/C, plumbing, stove, fridge, lighting, doors , elevator, car gates worked, the bed was...
