"The hotel's location can't be beaten. It is in the heart of the historic district, with the main street and El Pilar Plaza only a block away. The hotel itself is beautifully restored and on a small plaza with a fountain and benches.
We had rented two rooms (traveling with teenagers) for three days. The rooms were both quite clean and had comfortable beds and linens. One room was categorized as 'premium' because it was recently renovated; the other was 'standard'. The standard room was perhaps renovated 20 years ago, and it had a residual smoke smell, but it didn't bother us.
The hotel has a small gym but no other amenities. They have a morning breakfast buffet, which wasn't appealing and didn't justify the cost. We preferred to walk a block and have breakfast on the plaza. The staff was great- they arranged a taxi back to the train station, as Uber cannot enter the historic district. Overall, we would definelty return to this hotel at this amazing city!"
