"We were in is a one-bedroom unit of a large condo complex which appeared to be a mixture of owned and rented units. It is well run but the office is only staffed during the day. There is a communal picnic and pool facilities. Although on the waterfront, it has no ocean swimming or beach. There was a lovely view of the ocean and sunset from our unit. The WiFi was reliable in the bedroom but did not reach throughout the unit. The kitchen equipment and washer/dryer appeared new and worked well....

"This is our fourth trip to Colony 1 at Sea Mount. We stayed there in order to get to the volcano when it was erupting. It worked out well since the condo is about 30 minutes from the volcano. The unit was well taken care of, the kitchen was nice to have so we could make breakfast, since there is no restaurant on site. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a clothes washer too. "

"We stayed in the building close to the Check-In office and the main pool, it was easy to get in and unpacked with little to do running around, with Keauhou Shopping center right up the road you really didn’t need to drive into town to get the simple stuff. The property is amazing and a sense of privacy with midnight security always on duty and welcoming. I Would definitely stay here again"

"Really loved the location and especially the pool that overlooked the ocean. It was nice that it was never busy with loud kids/people and was pretty mellow. The room we stayed in, however, was a bit run down and kind of smelled like it was cleaned with a dirty sponge and the floor looked like it was never washed, based on my socks turning black after walking around on it.
