"Historic hotel, beautifully preserved and maintained. Front desk staff were helpful and courteous. Very pleasant, intentionally old-fashioned room without TV, mini-fridge or coffee maker in tune with the period decor. Excellent a/c and ceiling fan however. Restaurant served good quality food and an adequate American cuisine menu at mid-level prices. Breakfast menu was the typical Southern variety, but service on our Sunday morning visit was surprisingly slow. Food was good though and...

"Extremely clean. Well supplied kitchen. Screened in porch is best feature. Tons of pelicans to watch. Saw one dolphin. Would be a plus if the windows opened so you could enjoy the breeze. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Good location for exploring the area. "

"The view and easy access to the beach was perfect. We had almost the whole beach to ourselves. The elevator was very convenient to bring stuff up and down. The only downside is it is over 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store. I would highly recommend staying here. "
