"A nice family resort. We enjoyed the grounds which include (are included) mini golf, two large family pools, a game room and walking paths! We also took advantage of going (with golf cart ride) to a free local beach very close. I also did a spa package which was nice, my only complaint was at the spa there was a family? I could hear kids yelling during my spa treatment, not super relaxing, and the downstairs floors were soaked from kids jumping in and out of hot tub/pool. Other than that we...

"We stayed with the magnificent trees of Costa Rica. Monkeys sometimes visited our patio with butterflies dancing below. The staff was warm, eager to make us feel welcome, prepared yummy local breakfast, and connected us to wonderful tours. It felt like we were in a living painting. We are grateful for all the conservation efforts from the locals so the world can have safe breaths. Gracias. Pura Vida."

"Property, room, and service were exceptional. Adrian the bartender makes fantastic drinks. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We saw more wildlife on the hotel grounds than in the park. Also got a free upgrade to room with a pool. On the other hand,food was mediocre and the walkways are slippery and felt less than safe in this hilly wet enviorment. "Overall this is a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but it was definitely over priced for what it was (I do notice that it came down significantly in price since we booked, so maybe they realised that too!) On check in we were taken to a room that bore no resemblance to what we had booked and what was shown in the pictures and was definitely not worth £250 per night. However the staff were super helpful and "upgraded" us to a plus room which was actually like the pictures so maybe there is an...

"The view from our room was amazing, could not be beat. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had everything we needed. Pools were nice but could have been a touch warmer for our liking. Dinner, drinks and breakfast all very good but above all staff and service was exceptional. We look forward to staying there again."

"Amazing property with attention to every detail. Loved having our own concierge to help with questions. Service to the beach was helpful and appreciated. Loved the restaurant by the pool and especially the pool. The sloth tour was incredible that is why we stayed at Tulemar. Loved all the monkeys as well. Stay minimum 3 days to see wildlife and enjoy the beach. We were warned that our room was by the street and was noisy. But it was very noisy with motorcycles. But they stopped around 10:30....

"Great property and staff. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing missing is an onsite concession area for when it’s after hours for the bar/kitchen and you want a cold drink or snack. Overall an awesome place and would stay again. "

"Super quiet environment. Lots of nature. Great location between Manuel and the town. Denny and Paula were super helpful. Breakfast every morning is nice because you’re busy doing excursions and it helps with the cost. We had a great and safe experience. Slight plumbing issue but the villa resolved it immediately. "
