"PROS: beautiful resort grounds fabulous view from room nice breakfast buffett room good but not what I booked CONS: booked a king bed got 2 queens housekeeping forgot to bring face cloths, coffee filters, cups, coffee, at least one on a daily basis. no ice machines for guests no refrigerators in rooms no wake up calls available floor tiles in showers, very slippery, no hand rails or mats pool steps no hand rails anywhere screaming loud children everywhere anniversary dinner booked at hotel, one dinner came with tomatoe sauce and tomatoes that were not mentioned on menu, which I have an allergy to. They insisted I pay for it even though it was sent back immediately without one bite taken. Maitre d was very rude and ruined our anniversary."

"Came to Costa Rica for my anniversary trip. The Hotel Gaia was a pleasant experience. Overall the staff was wonderful! Never waited for answers. They were always right there with answers. I've been in the hospitality business for 31 years so I appreciate EXCELLENT service, and that it was. The room was very nice also. The complimentary breakfast made waking up early easy. It was just a short drive away from plenty of restaurants and shopping. The hotel offered free shuttle to the nearby beach and national park which we took full advantage of. Overall, I have to say the hotel experience was wonderful!"

"Beautiful property and accommodating, friendly staff. The view from both sides is stunning, the wildlife is abundant, and it's a great middle point in Quepos, 10-15 minutes from everything including Manuel Antonio. Air conditioning came in handy during hot and humid days, and while the ziplines were closed for maintenance, the hanging bridges were challenging and fun. Highly recommend."
