"Xandari was awesome! We loved the villa, the property, the people and the food! The views are spectacular and food was super fresh. My family loved the spacious villa and walking around the grounds. It’s also very convenient to the San Jose airport. We loved it so much we came back at the end of our trip to stay another couple of nights! "

"Beautiful accommodations - up to date, spacious room, large bathroom. The grounds were very attractive and well kept. Dining was very good which is nice since the lodge is a bit out of the way from other options. Good location - not too far from San Jose and close to the Poas Volcano National Park and not far from the La Paz Waterfalls."

"We loved the rooms and the friendly staff. We got to speak with the owner and found out the history of the property. The plantation tour was excellent, a great guide and experience. We would definitely stay again!"

"We had a really great stay here. Very quaint and the all day breakfast was a big plus. PLEASE BE AWARE that the gated parking that they suggest is $35 for day+night. And DO NOT park outside the hotel. Our rental car was broken into and the spare tire was stolen ;("

"What can I say about this beautiful place. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of city life you will find the best place we have stayed! The staff are amazing and nothing is too much hassle for them. The entire site was clean and tidy. The cabins are big but really cute. The food in the restaurant was amazing. "What an amazing find close to the airport! Edward was proactive in communicating and very hospitable. He picked us up at the airport and took us to our rental car the next day. Our room was spotless, spacious and minutes from the airport. We did not explore the area as we arrived late and left early the next morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if in the area. If you need an inexpensive clean room, this is the place to book. "
