"A marvellous chateau style hotel. Loved walking into the place with its great staircase. A bit of a distance from the the coast although a shuttle bus is provided. Good food and helpful staff….could change the menu a bit more often. Bedrooms were clean, spacious and well maintained."

"Für den Preis hätten wir ein frühstücksbuffet mit mehr Auswahl erwartet. Es gab nur Toast (keine Brötchen), 2 Sorten Käse, 2 Sorten Wurst und geräucherte Makrelenhäppchen. Obst nur Melone. Müsli war okay. Baked Beans, Rührei und Würstchen und Schinken. Jeden Tag das gleiche Frühstück. Enttäuschend. Essen im Restaurant war gut. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war sehr schön."

"Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it. "This was the first trip to Jersey for my mum and me. Im so glad we booked this hotel. It was set in large gardens, out of St Helier.Two pools in gardens and a hot tub. Warm welcome on arrival. Staff were all friendly and couldnt do enough for you.. Whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. Food was good and lots of choices too. Friendly atmosphere throughout. Loved our stay here. Would go again."

The only thing to be aware of is that if you have a car the Pomme D'Or does not have its own car park. You have to use the car park of a sister hotel which is a 16 minute walk away."
