"We arrived late (after midnight) after a 700km journey. The receptionist was Hungarian speaking but learning English (in her own time) and so made an extra effort in communicating with us. She facilitated a hot drink in the foyer area for us, (despite the restaurant being closed) while we went through the check-in process. She was really helpful and friendly which was really appreciated after such a long journey and chatted with us while we relaxed on the comfy sofas before retiring to our room. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with air conditioning which was GREATLY appreciated as temperatures were 28oC! The breakfast was very limited but this was in part due to us being gluten free (coeliacs disease) which was a shame but you can’t have it all I guess."

"We really enjoyed our stay . The staff were very friendly, welcoming and kind. We were impressed with the standard of cleanliness. The rooms were quiet , great a/c and a much appreciated fridge . The location was the best being in the centre of town. We’re from Australia and have been travelling on bicycles for 4 years and consider this one of the best hotels we’ve stayed due to great staff, location and cost. Highly recommend! "

"Just amazing, really. Best hotel we had during our travels in Hungary. Big and comfortable rooms (and beds!), very clean, 100% soundproof. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff, even after our stay, as I needed a copy of my invoice. I can only recommend this hotel and would always go back there when in the area."
