"Except location, for attractions and activities. Noisy at night on the weekends around town but usually quiets down by 11 pm.
Saturday morning chef was not good. The toast was a door stop and barely toasted and the butter was liquid! In the plastic packet. Service was also slow at breakfast but only on the Saturday. All other days were brilliant.
Room 4 has a very small sink in toilet/shower room. A sink more appropriate for a cloakroom toilet.
Other than those comments loved the Bugle and...

"Breakfast was lovely and staff helpful and kind. Swimming pools lovely, nice game room for the kids, grounds are beautiful. View is amazing but location of our room wasn’t the best, we were at the back of the hotel and our room looked out at fire escape, smoking area for staff and bottom floor room which had an outside area, the people smoked and staff late at night and early morning so as it was warm the windows were open and the. Room stunk of smoke, myself and daughter being asthmatic it...

"Caravan was clean and spacious. It was a little tired and needed some maintenance. The staff were all amazing. Great facilities and location. We will go back."

"It's ok if you just want a bed for the evening. Very tired throughout and needs a full refurb desperately. The reception was sketchy at best and often unmanned.
Don't bother with breakfast. It's not good
That being said, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.
Shanklin itself is also run down. We used the hotel as a base for the scooter rally, so didn't spend much time there, although we did like The Falcon pub. A proper local boozer.
