"Great location, lovely property."

"We were a group of two couples coming from England and Canada. We loved the hotel, we arrived early and we able to leave our suitcases and go and explore before checking in. The concierge were always so helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was amazing and everything there you could possible want. We did a lot of walking, the main part of the city was around a 15 minute walk, we also used Ubers too which was very easy. Overall would definitely recommend."

"Das Frühstück war leider eine negative Überraschung für uns. Lange Anstellzeit, wenig Auswahl, der Lärm aufgrund der Raumgröße. Hier ist definitiv Platz für Optimierung. Das Buffet könnte man beginnend in der Mitte in zwei Richtungen verlaufen lassen. Der Platz wäre vorhanden und dadurch würde die lange Anstellzeit reduziert werden. "

"Location is the best, rooms are very tight. Breakfast is good however they were rushing us 15 minutes before close and turning off coffee machines and dishes. The staff was kind and helpful. If you want a convenient location this is a great place to stay! "

"Über Mittag sehr laute Musik am Pool, Zimmer relativ sauber, aber nicht perfekt, Toilette schlecht platziert, Badezimmer winzig, vor allem im Vergleich zur Zimmergröße. Für die Sauna auf dem Dach muss man an Gästen vorbei, die im Restaurant sitzen oder auf der Terrasse Speisen und durch die Kälte. Wie bereits in anderen Rezessionen geschrieben, war auch bei uns einen Aufzug defekt. Dadurch lange wartezeiten, weil Aufzug sehr klein. Lautes Rauschen von der Decke, Zimmerwechsel erst am nächsten...

"The hotel staff was great!! My TV & bed linens, not so much. The TV didn’t work & my comforter wouldn’t stay in the duvet cover. Both were quite dingy."

"Staff were nice. Location was great. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Take note that you will likely hear trains as it is next to the train line but our room was pretty good for not having an issue."

"The reception staff by the name of Lewis was outright RUDE. I explained that I’m a hotels.com Gold ViP member and would like to enquire on late check-out options. He said there is no such thing. Only free beverage. I tried showing him my bookings but he was really very rude and brushed me off! Such excellent customer service experience from a 4-star hotel!"

"I also want to clarify that calling City Hotel Nebo a “hotel” on Expedia is misleading. It feels much more like a hostel or a very low-budget accommodation rather than a proper hotel. The facilities, room size, and overall comfort do not match what most people would expect from a hotel stay. Given the condition of the rooms and the basic amenities, it would be more accurate to describe it as a hostel or budget lodging. This misrepresentation makes the price even harder to justify."
