"Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"There was so many mosquitoes in our room. We got to change room, but had to spend the night moving. Also, new room had a very bad smell and was not maintained well. Very expensive room for the standard you get."

They should have better communication with the booking agency so that this does not happen to someone else in future. The room was OK but nothing spectacular. "Very rural location which meant we were very aware of the noise of village dogs during the night. It is an 8 minute tuktuk ride from the Dambulla bus stand, but only a 600 metre walk to the access to the Dambulla Cave Temples. The bathroom was tired and could do with a significant refresh."
