"The property was very average and not worth the money. On the up side, Assistant F&B Manager, Benny Amutenya really tried hard to make amends to the lack of empathy for my food intolerances, which had been flagged twice prior to our stay. He was very apologetic and acknowledged. Thank you Benny. The lodge lacked ambience."

"I can not recommend to stay in Moon Mountain Lodge. At least not at this time of the year. Preparations for the new season where still ongoing and only a few of the tented rooms were ready and the smell of tar paint was all over the place. Despite they had only 5 guests including us we were given the most far away tented room (ca. 200 meters gravel way from the main building). The breakfast was a catastrophy. The butter was rancid, the milk was sour and the cheese was moldy. The managememt were not really interested in our complains and told us all food were stored in the fridge. So this was the worst accomodation of all we had since years in Namibia and South Africa!"

Being greeted by zebras when we arrived felt like stepping into a dream. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable. The staff are extraordinary. And Papa G, our guide, brought every experience to life with his depth of knowledge and genuine love for Namibia. Quad biking over the dunes, exploring Sossusvlei, relaxing with incredible massages — every moment felt perfect. At night, the stars shine brighter than I’ve ever seen. Sleeping under the open sky in the outdoor bed is something everyone should experience at least once. We got engaged here. That alone says everything. Kwessi Dunes will forever hold a piece of my heart. Thank you to the team for creating something so magical. We will be back."

"Very cool property with interesting architecture aesthetic and loved seeing animals on the property. The food portions were a bit small, no WiFi in the rooms and AC didn’t cool the room well enough "

"We were there in February (Namibian summer) so it was hot in the tent during the day, and the huge water-filled cooling thingy (don't know what it's called) didn't help at all, if anything it made the tent hotter not to mention the noise it made. We decided to just open the windows and through in the warm breeze. It was better once the sun had gone down. Otherwise it was a great stay. Staff were nice and friendly and we enjoyed the sundowner game drive."
