"The hotel is beautiful and has a privileged view and location, unfortunately the hotel is a little bit run down, service is good as the staff is very friendly but it feels like they are missing more staff and sometimes things take to long to arrive.
The only real issue I had was the food, the quality was terrible and taste was subpar. I had to return a ceviche trio because the fish was completely off, dry and smelly. On my last day I had the sopes with cecina and immediately had an upset...

"Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home."
