Espaillat Province All Inclusive Resorts

"To start, the resort was an amazing experience. This hotel is a great place to relax. The cons: The front desk service needs improvement. The customer service is lacking, there are very few people at the front desk at all times. Some of the staff were not nice and it felt like they would ignore you sometimes. Others were better with their service, but still there is little coverage at front desk at any hour. For the rooms: We had some issues with water leaking from the ceiling. The TVs weren’t really functioning (but we rarely were using them anyway). The cleanliness was okay not the best. The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty. Never lacked towels or soap. Another con: Way too many salespeople trying to sell timeshares. It was more than I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Pros: Employees were always friendly and quick to help with anything. The food is delicious , especially the buffet. Absolutely exceptional. Drinks were well served. I would say this is one of the most comfortable and relaxing resort experiences I’ve had. You can really sit down and relax for the most part. Other than the front desk service, I’d say this is a great choice for anyone wanting to have a laid back vacation/stay."

"We stayed at the ibeostar in Cancun and the difference is night and day. This one in puerto plata is not well kept. The pool was dirty, paint around the hotel chipping away , food was okay. No complaints about the staff, they were all friendly and polite. I just wish the facility was up to the same standards as the other locations. Cancun location there were shows and activities that we were made aware of and invited too. Im not sure if there were any here because I did not see any or hear of. The atmosphere was just different. All in all I would probably not attend this location again. "

"New building attractively designed & decorated with open, airy layout. Our room was large & clean, and all of the staff were extremely helpful. The internet went in & out, but the AC worked well. We also liked that there were scooters & bikes available for rent."

"I recommend you add the breakfast for everyday. The staff was super helpful and amazing. Breakfast was on point and not basic at all. I will be booking this hotel many times more with breakfast lol. The restaurant is also a must!!! This place is TOP!"

"El hotel es bonito lo único es que pedí especificaciones con las habitaciones la cual ignoraron, los horarios en la piscina y bebidas es muy limitado, eso me desagradó y no hubo tanta variación en los jugos y comidas. Por el otro lado el servicio del personal fue muy adecuado, amabilidad ante todo. No creo que vuelva por el momento por las limitaciones pero lo que sí rescato es el personal, bastante amables y serviciales"
