"We had a lovely stay at Ella Retreat. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and included a fridge, kettle, little cooktop and kitchen sink which was handy. We had one of the best breakfasts of our trip here - it was delicious and very generous with portions, with lots of options to choose from. "We stayed 4 nights at Walaa Kulu, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The villa is truly luxurious, beautifully furnished, and designed to take full advantage of the stunning panoramic views that surround it. Every room offers a breathtaking outlook — the kind that photos simply cannot capture. The heated pool overlooking the lush green hills was an absolute highlight, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing evening swim even when the air cooled down.

"This hotel has up side and quite a bit down sides.
The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect staff (Gadjen).
The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk.
The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for
breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel."
