"I’m not sure if it’s the in entire property or my specific room but there was a horrible roach infestation they were everywhere under the bed and in the bathroom at one point I killed 4 within 20min I even seen one crawling from out of my shoe after that I couldn’t stay the remaining 2 days I left and checked into a different hotel. This place desperately needs to be cleaned thoroughly firm top to bottom"

"Here’s a more relaxed and personal second review version: We enjoyed our first stay here so much that we actually came back to Saigon 9 Rivergate for a few final days to unwind before flying back to the UK after travelling around Vietnam. This time our host was Nolan’s brother, Scott, who was incredibly friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. He helped us with our luggage when we arrived and genuinely asked how the rest of our trip had been, which was a really nice personal touch after a long journey back into Ho Chi Minh City. The apartment was once again spotless, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing before a long flight home. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, the shower pressure was excellent, and having the kitchen, fridge freezer, and nearby shops downstairs made everything really convenient. We also used the pool this time and the process was super simple. Access was sorted quickly through a short text message and everything was smooth and hassle-free. The modern smart TVs with Netflix built in were also great for chilled evenings after weeks of travelling around the country. Overall, another fantastic stay. The combination of the location, comfort, security, and genuinely welcoming hosts made it somewhere we were very happy to return to."

"The hotel location is close to the beach. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. They paid close attention to service and they were really polite and helpful throughout. The room, beach view room, was nicely decorated and clean. We actually got a trip back to Ho Chi Minh free of charge using their shuttle service, mentioned to us at check-in, which was incredibly helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good. Wide variety of food, very good service throughout. I recommend this hotel very highly. Thank you Vias Hotel; you were excellent."
