"This property has been slipping down over the years. Rooms are getting old and not kept up. Tiles in the bathroom chipped. Dirty tissues laying on the floor at the bed post. Dusted on the high spots. Met cleaning crew getting on the elevator as we got off. They left the cleanig cart in middle of the hallway. The cleaning cart had the rooms master key attached to a neck lanyard sitting on top in plain view. I could have taken it and entered every room. Serious safety issue. No streetlights in...

"Enjoyed our Stay. It was the first time we have been there in several years. The room upgrades are nice but there is still a ways to go. Was not expecting to get a charge of $75.00 for daily resort fees. That was no where that i saw in my reservations and not sure what i got for these fees. Was definitely a shock and will prevent me from coming back."

"Brasstown has always been a favorite place for me to go to. The views and the amenities are wonderful. The food is excellent. I know it’s undergoing a renovation which is badly needed and that’s why my score is not a five star. It looks tired in a lot of the rooms, my sink was rusted. I think you also need a different brand of coffee in the rooms. Dark magic by Green Mountain is not always preferred but more of a medium roast."

"I loved sitting out from our balcony looking at the lake it was so beautiful and nice and peaceful. Our suite was facing the lake which was a must. I loved our suite it was a one bedroom with full kitchen it was a cute little setup. It was just my husband and I which was perfect."

"Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. "

"Beautiful place, beautiful views and very quiet. Totally enjoyed our stay. Two suggestions: Place the number of the house at the edge of the driveway and possibly place the box for trash on some sort of stand since the latches locking it were hard to reach and open for a senior. "If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains this place is it. Beautiful and meticulously maintained property that invites you to relax and enjoy. Good location close to Hiawassee and surrounding attractions. The hosts are very hospitable and responsive to any questions or concerns. We had a great stay and plan to return."
