Great Smokies Inn Cherokee

10/10 Excellent

"Jenny at the front desk was wonderful!! I loved the property and the location!!"

Two Rivers Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we’re in the area. It is not fancy at all but had what we had to have. Next time, I will bring Kleenex and paper towels but there was plenty of soap, towels, and toilet paper. Owners were very friendly and maintain a family-safe hotel. We loved walking along the river right behind our room."

Bay Mountain Inn

10/10 Excellent

"For an unexpected last minute change of our hotel accommodations, we were so very satisfied with Bay Mountain Inn. We didn't know anything about this hotel so didn't really know what to expect. From the moment we walked in until the moment we checked out, we were extremely satisfied. The front desk associates were so friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms were very clean and completely met our needs. The continental breakfast was the basic easy and light food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

Nantahala Village

8/10 Good

"The place was beautiful and in a beautiful location on the side of a mountain. There were nice views all around as well as multiple outdoor seating areas. Our room had a nice view of the mountains. The room was mostly clean. There was a sticky substance in the bathroom floor as well as a used coffee cup behind the toilet and a blue stain in the bathtub due to a leak that had obviously been going on for a while. We gathered that the cleaning person was not the most reliable employee based on comments that we overheard. The place was very quiet. Most of the amenities were not available due to staff shortages and being closed for the season. There was good internet service and a tv with a decent amount of channels. Sausage biscuits and coffee were provided for breakfast, but they were not out by the scheduled time both mornings that we were there. There is no staff on site after 5 pm so if a problem were to arise not sure how well it would be handled. Requests for extra towels, toilet paper etc. had to be placed by noon, so be sure to check your supplies early in the day😊. My biggest complaint was the booking had one price and we were charged something more. It seemed like the place was struggling, so we didn’t complain to the desk clerk. It was a nice place overall, and cheaper than other places that weren’t as nice nor had the views we had."
