"Clean building and rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. Amenities are very basic, but the price per night is very reasonable. Close to lots of restaurants and the SHSU campus. Outdoor pool looked nice but we couldn't use it because it rained all weekend."

"Breakfast was awful. Before 8am on a Tuesday morning they were out of eggs, and only had overcooked peppery sausage patties and a few biscuits. Most of the time when we passed the lobby there was no one around. The floor in our room must have been cleaned with a filthy mop. We could hear the people talking in the next room. "

"The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Huntsville is a decent hotel. Sitting just off I-45 and about 70 miles from Houston it's well-positioned for travelers passing through or spending time near Sam Houston State University. Rooms are clean and well-equipped, with an indoor pool and fitness center rounding out the amenities. The hot breakfast buffet was ok, hotel food. "The breakfast was perfect, room was perfect and pretty location close excellent choices of restaurants. We chose Chueys, an excellent TexMex restaurant. "

"Everything was wonderful except the night lady did not want to sale water because she said that it makes a lot of noise and it loud. And she will get some out later on but you can purchase soda. That’s not what i wanted I was super thirsty but i ended up with 2 soda anyway because she still didn’t get the water other than that everything was nice I wil visit again "

"We showed up got our room and the first room had bugs on the floor, room reeked of smoke and both beds had nasty stains on both of the beds. Went to take to the lady’s working the front desk for a different room went there and the next room on the other side of the property smelled more like smoke and had even more stains on both beds. "
