"Lost horse is an amazing little hidden gem. We were in the Bitteroot Valley looking for a place to stay for the night and found this. We were able to book same day less than an hour before we arrived. They made check in super easy we just popped into the main lodge and they let us know our room was unlocked and ready for us to go. "The Hannon house is a great lodging situated in a beautiful location near Darby. We were in one of the suites, and it was clean, comfortable and had good views of the Bitterroot and Saphire Mountains. The proprietors, Jason and Toni, were wonderfully friendly and helpful. "

"Frankly, my wife and I stayed here because it was the only room we could find available in the area. My first concern was the distance from the highway. This, however, was not an issue. The road is in great shape, you can cruise around 60 mph most of the way. Only the last half mile is unpaved and its not bad. Altogether, a wonderful drive.
